About Division Point Multimedia

Division Point Multimedia, originally a side project, was registered as a sole proprietorship by owner Matthew Fry in 2001. In early 2004, after the web development firm which had employed him ceased operations, Matt took Division Point full-time and reorganized it as a partnership with his wife, Theresa, whose role is in administrative and other assistance.

Division Point provides personalized technical and creative services by Matt Fry, and also through the help of trusted and experienced partners. We aren't the company for everyone, but we think you will often find at least as much value for your money with us as you would with a larger firm. We offer custom web design and development solutions for small to mid-sized businesses and organizations. We also provide IT and telecom support for small offices and home offices in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and suburban Maryland area.

little_tool_guyMatt Fry has worked full-time in the computer and Internet technology field since 1995, when he was hired out of the warehouse as a web designer and server administrator for Infocus Communications, a Herndon, Virginia marketing and distribution services company. In 1998, Infocus began NetGuilds, a "dot-com" at which Matt continued in a similar role as senior web developer and eventual director of technology. From 2000 to 2003, Matt worked for Exit1, a Reston, Virginia web development firm where he provided both creative and technical services.

In addition to his professional experience, Matt has been building websites since the beginning of the web era, and fixing, building, and otherwise getting to know the ins and outs of computers and technology since the early 1980s. He enjoys both the hands-on work and the intellectual challenge of solving technical problems, and draws on all his knowledge and experience to understand clients' needs, fulfill them, and refer them to other professionals when appropriate.

Matt and Theresa live with their four children in Herndon, Virginia.
